Event Details
The Halcyon Pairs Open is a fun yet competitive event played in a pairs best-ball format over 72 holes.
The 2024 event will be played in England. Lodgings are in Liverpool and the golf courses dotted along the North West coast.
The event is all inclusive* and fully hosted by Halcyon Golf Travel. There will be members of the Halcyon team at the event acting as concierge as well as a team of drivers to get you where you need to be on time. Post golf entertainment and plenty of drinks will be provided throughout the week.
The event is not only an opportunity to experience world class hospitality at some of the best golf courses in the UK, but to network and bond with like minded golfers from around the world.

The 2023 host venue for the 151st Open Championship. Walk in the footsteps of Rory McIlroy (Champion 2014), Tiger Woods (Champion 2006) and the 2023 Open Champion. Ranked 40th best course in the world, Birkdale is truly amongst the greatest links courses out there. Not only is it beautiful, dramatic and challenging but also steeped in history. 10 Open Championsips, 6 Ladies Opens, 2 Ryder Cups and The Walker Cup have been competed for at Birkdale.
174 strategically positioned pot bunkers await you at the 65th best course in the world. Lytham is a brutal links that tests even the best players in the world. Winners of The Open here inlcude Ernie Els, Seve Ballesteros, Gary Player and Bobby Jones.
The lesser known of the 4 courses but by no means the weakest. Originally designed by Old Tom Morris, this traditional links course has undulating fairways and navigates its way through towering sand dunes. The club reguarly hosts tournments of high significance including The Boys Amateur, Womens Amateur and qualifying for The Open Championship. It was also at Wallasey where the Stableford scoring system was invented.

This chique 4* hotel is located in the heart of Liverpool’s “Beatles Quarter” and housed in the magnificent Grade II listed Central Buildings, this beautifully restored hotel is steeped in history.
The location of the hotel is central to the golf clubs you’ll be playing and situated right in the middle of town; walking distance to dozens of bars and restaurants in the buzzing Northern city of Liverpool. For any Beatles fans, the hotel is just 100 yards from “The Cavern Club”, the venue where The Beatles rose to fame.

Pairs best-ball played over 72 holes.
Players receive 85% of their course handicap.
Random draw for rounds 1-3. In round 4 players will tee off in reverse order of standing (Leaders tee off last).
Handicap limit of 24 for Men and 36 for Ladies.
