Our host, Lee, was exceptional from start to finish. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and personable, and his local knowledge made a huge difference in our experience. Our group was in Liverpool for a combination of golf and exploring the city, which included The Beatles Museum, and Lee did a fantastic job making sure everything ran smoothly while also giving us a great feel for the area. He went above and beyond throughout the trip and was a big part of why everyone had such a great time. We were extremely impressed with Halcyon Travel and especially with Lee. My wife and I decided at the last minute that we would travel this August 2026. Adam put together another package without question. We decided on a 8 day stay with 4 guaranteed tee times with the old course as a ballot option. He guided me thru the ballot process and we were successful. Jamie hand held me through a first trip to Scotland for golf (8 guys) and the trip was an amazing success. Some of our group won the St. Andrews lottery and they had a blast, but Jamie made sure the other players were well taken care of. Greg Keoleian2 September 2026Just returned from our 7 night golf trip to the Scottish Highlands that was arranged by Halcyon Golf. All aspects of the trip were great! We were a group of 4 of which three had made previous golf trips to Scotland. Our primary contact Adam provided timely communication from original planning in September 2025 through the days leading up to the trip in August. We elected the option to have Halcyon provide transportation and a driver which was definitely the way to go. Were provided a very comfortable sprinter type van that could accommodate 6 passengers comfortably and had large windows which were great for viewing the Scottish countryside. Our driver Malcom was great! He was a very safe driver that was always right on time. He was also extremely friendly and seemed like family by the end of the trip. We elected to spend our entire time in the Highlands city of Inverness. Accommodations were at the 5 start Ness Walk hotel located near the center city on the river Ness. The hotel was great!! Very nice rooms with a great breakfast included and excellent staff. Played both courses at Cabot Highlands, Royal Dornach and Nairn along with lesser known courses of Brora and Golspie. The headliner courses were great but Golspie and Brora were also very enjoyable with stunning views. Only slight drawback was that travel to dornach, Golspie and Brora were over an hour each way. It wasn’t an issue for us as the drive is beautiful and we had great weather but it wouldn’t have been as enjoyable if it were raining the whole way. Overall we were very pleased with Halcyon and will use them again if we plan another golf trip to the UK.Posted on Google

It was completely seamless - from the tee times, to the hotel, to the transportation with Chris our driver, to dinner reservations and even a whiskey distillery tour! I will actively recommend Halcyon Golf Travel to anyone who will listen - and largely because of Jamie. Though I'd add that I had a caddie at Gleneagles who carried the bag for an American on the Queens Course who had been promised Kings, missed playing promised Carnoustie and Kingsbarns, and was overall disappointed in their trip. All the tee times made suited our requests and the accommodations in both Gullane and St. Andrews were perfect. Adam was incredibly helpful and responsive during the planning stages of our trip. When we won the Swilcan package with St. Andrew’s, Adam quickly rearranged the details of our trip around our tee time on the Old Course. Adam also recommended we stay at the Rusack’s Hotel, and its location on the 18th fairway of the Old Course was even better than the Old Course hotel! He coordinated our group of eight, gave us great golf course recommendations, and managed to get us in the Rusacks hotel just off the 18th hole at the Old Course which I highly recommend. He also went out of his way to tell us about the Swilcan Package (outside of the Halycon quote) which was where we managed to get our Old Course tee time even though that meant removing part of the Halcyon quote. He was incredibly responsive, flexible, and handled every detail—courses, transport, and hotels were outstanding. Adam even recommended entering the ballot for the Swilcan Package to play the Old Course. Against all odds, both of our foursomes got on for the same day—and our first group even met Gary Player on the tee! Staying at the Rusacks Hotel right on the 18th fairway was unforgettable. The planning was the best part as my group contemplated what courses to play, and Halcyon provided great feedback on itinrary and specific detials like travel times, where to stay, restaurants. Halcyon knows golf (Jack is a stick, don't let him tell you otherwise), golf courses, restaurants, hotels, transport, touristey stuff to do, all of it. Linda Davis8 June 2026Thanks, Adam, for putting together an amazing trip for our group. Aside from some wind and rain (!), it was perfect. Having worked in the travel industry (a long time ago), I can appreciate the time and effort that went into getting all of the details worked out for us. You willingly, and with a smile, took care of the extras ...laundry, changing dinner reservations, airport transfers. I promised you I would take notes about the women's clothes and accessories in the various pro shops and I didn't do a good job with that. We did manage to find plenty to purchase but the choices were somewhat limited. (I know this is totally out of your purview, and the offerings stateside in our pro shops are not always great). Seven rounds of golf in 8 days was a lot for me and the wind/rain/hail at Rye nearly did me in! I know the guys in the group are looking forward to next year's adventure in Ireland. Not sure when they will invite the women along, but I'm game for another trip and hope you will be able to put it together for us when the time comes.Posted on Google

I’ve been on two excursions with them - one to Scotland and just recently Ireland. They arranged convenient tee times at fantastic tracts, each with different characteristics to give you some variety and a touch of local culture. Hotels are just right, often with breakfast, and transportation always runs on time and with flexibility if you want to unwind at the bar after a round. Paul Barba1 June 2026Four years later and just completed my third group trip with Halcyon Golf Travel. This time to SE Ireland! I didn't think they could do better than the first two trips but they did! My first attempt as group captain, working closely with Jack and Lee to plan the ideal trip. Their new to me electronic itinerary made it easy to keep everyone in the group updated. The personal attention and service they provided was outstanding. I almost had a real problem as I injured my knee just a few weeks before the trip. I thought I was done but Lee guided me and he was able to get me a cart exception for most of the courses just days before I left saving my trip. I will be forever grateful. Lee even joined us for a few days making it even better. Thanks Jack and Lee! We'll start planning 2028 with you real soon. I can't wait to see what you will do to make that even better! My second trip to Scotland planned by Jack at Halcyon Golf Travel! 8 guys and no issues! Customized to our needs. P Reed1 June 2026The gentlemen’s golf excursion orchestrated by Halcyon was nothing short of splendid. Jack opened our booking last year, and Lee orchestrated our adventure! Halcyon/Lee lined up world class venues (Old Head/Ballybunion-Old /Tralee/Waterville/Dooks) that were spectacular and not one single hiccup:: totally stress free from start to finish! Transport was provided each day, right on schedule: Ross was our coachman, and enhanced our experience. The coach was big, new, clean….relaxing and great for the longer commutes from Killarney. Lodging was arranged @ International Hotel: center of activities, with street side après-golf seating/libations and short walks to all venues: perfect! Our group was treated to an enclave of bedroom suites removed from all hotel and town hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfortable with a large upscale bathroom. This was ideal for our group and provided an environment to get our rest each night. From the moment I first talked to Adam, I knew Halcyon was the right company. He took the time to get to know us, and really understand what we were looking for on this trip. The other companies I spoke with offered set packages...Adam prepared a bespoke trip, and catered to everything we desired. We wanted a no hassle trip, not having to worry about rental cars, tee times, the ballot at St. Andrews, or anything else that would distract us from relaxing and enjoying the golf. Adam delivered. Every tee time was set, every transfer was early, and the restaurant reservations we requested were handled. The entire trip feature a measure of personal service that is almost unheard of in this day and age. James Steedsman5 October 2025We booked a 10 day golf trip to St. Andrews, Scotland through Halcyon and I can say without question it could not have gone any better. From the accommodations, to transportation and of course, the golf, everything was top notch, professional, and above all had a personal touch. Lee was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He handled everything including the million questions we had. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, it was that well done. We were part of a Northern Scotland trip that mixed old and newer courses. Each one seemed better and better as we went on. Outside of the golf, the lodging was great, the transportation was seamless and always on time and the planned meals at cool restaurants were a nice end to each day. Jack organized games for our group during each round, which made things fun, we had caddies at all the courses to get the true experience of playing in Scotland and he was always around to answer any questions we had. Started working with Lee about a year ago. All aspects of the trip were perfect. T times, caddies, courses, drivers were all first rate. We lost our lodging several months before our trip due to a major renovation. Lee came through with very nice alternative lodging that was brand new and in a fantastic location. He was always on top of everything and extremely responsive. After our trip, Lee helped me out with obtaining some souvenirs for me and them mailed them to me. The initial consultation was very different from other companies, and made it feel like a bespoke experience. Jack and his team did a great job identifying our goals for the trip, and helped set up all of the details to minimize travel time and maximize the golf and Scottish experience. They also were great about understanding our budget and where we were willing to spend more or less during the trip. The communication during the booking process was impeccable, and the itinerary and documents were constantly updated and available in the Trip Plans app. Many companies make you feel like you are getting a prepackaged itinerary, but Halcyon really listened to what we wanted and worked to get us the unbelievable experience that we enjoyed during our time in Scotland. Josh Finn19 July 2025If there was an option to give more than 5 stars I would. We started this process about 18 months ago with Jack at Halcyon to plan a trip of a lifetime to Scotland. The initial conversation over video conference revolved around what courses we wanted to play and a budget we would like to stick to. To say that everything exceeded expectations does not do it justice. From course planning, tee times, transportation, accommodations, dinner plans, things to do on our off/free time, everything was accounted for to the minute detail. Lee at Halcyon was our liaison and went above and beyond our expectations. He was available at any time before our trip to answer questions, change our itinerary, or for anything else we needed months before our trip. While we were in Scotland, Lee was available at all times for any questions we had, help we needed, and even checked in a few times to see how things were going and if we needed anything via text and email. Our transportation guys were absolutely phenomenal as well, Fraser did an amazing job. Colin, I hope you see this, you are the absolute best. Colin provided everything and anything we needed, most of the time before we even had to ask. We were able to play 36 at Muirfield with the cavalry lunch, Royal Troon, Turnberry Alisa, Carnoustie, Kingsbarns, and were even lucky enough to win the ballot to get onto the Old Course which Halcyon put in for us. The dinner recommendations and reservations were top notch as were the ideas for things to do on our off time. Our accommodations were absolutely amazing even on our budget. All of our group would like to extend a huge thank you for all of your work to make this literally a trip of a lifetime. If you plan on doing any traveling in the UK for golf or anywhere else for that matter you need to use Halcyon, in our opinion they are the absolute best!!!+28Posted on Google

Corballis was a perfect course off the plane, Jameson was really nice with Irish winds of 70kph and a great caddie who is a groundskeeper.
