Golf courses in this itinerary

Golspie Golf Club

Golspie Golf Club, located on the stunning Dornoch Firth in the Scottish Highlands, is a true hidden gem offering a unique blend of links, heathland, and parkland golf. Established in 1889 and influenced by the legendary James Braid, this course provides a front nine featuring classic links holes, while the back nine transitions into heathland terrain.

Brora Golf Club

Brora Golf Club, established in 1891, is a quintessential Scottish links course. Originally a nine-hole layout, in 1923, the course was redesign by James Braid, a layout that remains largely unchanged today. The course is home to local wildlife, including sheep and cattle, which graze the fairways and contribute to the maintenance of the traditional links turf.

Royal Dornoch Golf Club

Royal Dornoch Golf Club is widely regarded as one of the best golf courses in the world, famous for its breath-taking setting and its challenging, yet rewarding, links layout. The club has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments and is a favourite among golfers for its blend of tradition and modernity with a brand new clubhouse opened in 2025.

Nairn Golf Club

Nairn Golf Club, established in 1887, is a distinguished links course with the Championship Course celebrated for its seamless integration with the Moray Firth coastline, offering stunning sea views from every hole. The opening holes run adjacent to the shoreline, demanding precision, especially when coastal winds are a factor.

Castle Stuart

The Castle Stuart Golf Links, at Cabot Highlands, is a championship course that opened in 2009. This course is renowned for its wide, rolling fairways and endless infinity greens with views of the Moray Firth. The design offers a classic links experience with light rough and waste areas and has hosted the Scottish Open multiple times.

Old Petty

Complementing Castle Stuart is the highly anticipated Old Petty course. It promises a distinctive layout that harmonises with the rugged coastal terrain, incorporating features like shared fairways and expansive sand scrapes, and passes landmarks such as the historic Old Petty Church and Castle Stuart. The grand opening is planned for Spring 2026.
