Cabot Highlands

The Highlands

Cabot Highlands, part of the famous cabot collection, offers two exceptional golf courses that blend seamlessly with the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

The Castle Stuart Golf Links, designed by Mark Parsinen and Gil Hanse, is an 18-hole championship course that opened in 2009. This course is renowned for its wide, rolling fairways and endless infinity greens with views of the Moray Firth. The design offers a classic links experience with added theatrics and deliberately light rough and waste areas so you can easily find your ball. Castle Stuart has hosted the Scottish Open multiple times, underscoring its esteemed status in the golfing world.

Complementing this is the Old Petty course, a collaboration between acclaimed architect Tom Doak and associate Clyde Johnson. Opened in 2025, Old Petty promises a distinctive layout that harmonizes with the rugged coastal terrain. The course features innovative design elements, including criss-crossing fairways on the opening and closing holes, and offers players captivating views of landmarks such as the historic Old Petty Church and Castle Stuart.

Together, these courses at Cabot Highlands provide a premier golfing destination that honors Scotland’s rich golfing heritage while embracing contemporary design excellence.
