Trump Turnberry

Ayrshire & West Scotland

Trump Turnberry is one of the world’s most iconic golf destinations.

Known for its breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the nearby Ailsa Craig island, Turnberry is famous for its historic Ailsa Course. This course has hosted numerous major tournaments, including The legendary 1977 Open Championship nicknamed “The Duel in the Sun” where Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson famously battled it out. ,

The Ailsa Course is a blend of classic links golf with modern touches. It benefited from a drastic redesign by Mackenzie & Ebert in 2016 with further enhancements made in early 2025; this modernised classic has some of the most picturesque courses in the game. The iconic lighthouse has been renovated into a half way house, making it one of the most unique refreshment stops in golf.

Turnberry’s second course “King Robert The Bruce”, named after the famous King of Scots who was born at Turnberry Castle (sight of today’s lighthouse) is also well worth a play,  making Trump Turnberry a 36 hole venue of true substance.
