Founded by Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart, and Peter Mosley—visionaries behind the Porterhouse Brewing Company—the distillery occupies a converted sawmill and was Ireland’s first purpose-built distillery in over a century.
Emphasizing small-batch production, Dingle Distillery crafts its spirits using traditional copper pot stills and water sourced from an on-site deep well. Their flagship products include Dingle Single Malt Whiskey, matured in bourbon casks, and Dingle Single Pot Still Whiskey, aged in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Additionally, the distillery produces Dingle Original Gin and Dingle Distillery Vodka, both distilled in a dedicated small pot still.
Visitors can explore the distillery through guided tours, which offer insights into the distillation process and conclude with tastings of their award-winning spirits. Tours are available Monday to Saturday at 10:00, 11:30, 14:00, and 16:00.
