Golf has run through every step of my career. I played college golf at Weber State University in Utah, graduating with a degree in Professional Sales, before working in online marketing sales, as an assistant golf pro, and as a project manager at a trade show exhibit house. That mix of golf and project management eventually led me into golf tour operations, and for the past three years, to Halcyon Golf Travel.

Day to day, I work directly with clients and suppliers to make sure every detail of a trip is in place, while supporting the wider HGT team wherever needed. Having played most of the top courses across the UK and Ireland myself, I love helping people build a trip they’ll remember for years – and passing on what I’ve learned so clients get the most out of these famous links, and the towns around them.

“

Don't golf yourself out. Leave time for the culture, the town, the restaurants, and a few pubs. Walking the links is tiring, especially if the weather turns - build in a rest day or space out your 36-hole days.

My advice to clients
Quick facts
Top 5 coursesRoyal Portrush, Cruden Bay, Kingsbarns, Prestwick, Royal Birkdale
Favourite tripLiverpool - a round at one of the area's great courses, a night out on Matthew Street finishing at the Cavern Club, and an Everton match if it's in season
Best HGT momentsOur offseason team FAM trips, scouting the locations we offer clients. They're intense - back-to-back tours and meetings - but always end with a round of golf and a few beers
Outside of workGolf (of course), my young family, and our dogs
